New shoes and books
So today I went and got some new running shoes and a new book. The story starts in the morning. Today I woke up and during my prayer time I asked God for an oppurtunity to witness to a person. So after a run in another guys shoes I made up my mind that my other running shoes that I left at home needed to be replaced after a year. I also had classes off in the afternoon which allowed me to do work for a while and go shoping for new shoes. After the shoes I went to Barns and Nobels and found a book I wanted. So I went to the register and there was a guy about my age and as I walked up he said hey. I said you looked bored and he said yes. About all the excitement I get is the conversation I can strike up with people here. He made a comment about the book I bought. It was of course about Christianity and I briefly explained it to him. About the time I was backing up in my car I relized that I had just missed the chance to share the gospel. I should of gone back in and shared the gospel with him and taken the weird looks or whatever. I suppose I just wanted to share this to tell you that we need to be listening to the leading of the Spirit when he answeres are prayers and gives us the oppurtunities to witness.

Hey Tim, Have a great Christmas celebrating Christ! I think I'll check out "Life at the Bottom" by Theodore Dalrymple.
