Life at the Bottom
Theodore Dalrymple, wrote a book entitled "Life at the Bottom". This book is incredibly insightful. The man understands the current trends in sociaty and where it is headed at ful spead. I finaly finished this book today. I have been hung up on the last 50 pages since school started. However it is easy to read. Before school started I read two hundred pages in a weeks time, and for me thats good. This book was recommended to me in a lecture that I heard by Dr. Nobel, the founder of Summit Ministries in Colorado and the writter of Understanding the Times and Co - author of Mind seigde. Also Thomas Sowell says this book is, "A classic for our times. It is fundamental for understanding the world we live in as the three R's." This is a book that the LEFT does not want us to read. It is one that seems to be almost a modern application of Proverbs upon the society in which we live. It is also funny yet, sad in that the stories you will read are true. It should revolutionize the way that we view social work. It is exposing one that merely throughing money at a social problem will never fix anything. It is a book that says morality matters. If you believe in retribution or hold to idea's that agree that the lower class is based on racism and not own those individuals own personal discisions on a whole then you should read this book to expand your understanding.
