freedom what is it?

I want to thank Daniel for his comment about freedom. I suggest that all read it. Daniel started going in the dirrection that I am hoping for. However this question of freedom as "ought to do" or "the ablity to do whatever I want to" leads many differnet ways. So keep going people keep taking the Bible and seeing what it says about freedom and drawing conclusion on that for this life. I think a relavent question perhaps to spark thought in another direction is. Should we pass a legistation defining marriage as between one man and one woman only? This of course would not permit homosexual marriages. I ask this question because of CHRISTIANS I have heard say no. So again looking at the Bible how would you answer this question?
